Day 2

I had a patient today who reminded me so much of my grandfather. My grandfather was the kindest man to walk the face of this earth. He always carried candies in his pockets and he never had a mean word for anybody. This patient today lay there on the hospital bed while prodded this way and that and he smiled through it all and thanked us over and over. He is really sick and I'm not working over the weekend. I hope he makes it until Monday when I go back in.
